We want you to enjoy using the Pulse Starter Kit (CP-STK) safely.
Detailed information relating to Health & Safety can be found on this page. Please read the information carefully and make sure that anyone else using the kit does so before using it.
Instructions #
The sensor technology emits short bursts or ultrasonic waves (i.e. sounds beyond the human hearing range). Every time you use the Pulse Starter Kit:
- We recommend allowing for approximately 30 cm between your head and the sensor.
- Do not target the PULSE directly onto your ears or eyes.
- Do not place the PULSE facedown on a surface when powered on.
If you feel unwell #
Stop using the PULSE if you feel any of the following symptoms: dizziness; disorientation; impaired balance; nausea; light-headedness; headaches; drowsiness; fatigue or any symptoms similar to motion sickness. Do not drive, operate machinery or engage in other demanding activities that have potentially serious consequences until you have fully recovered from any symptoms. Do not use the PULSE until all symptoms have completely subsided for several hours. Seek medical advice if you have serious and/or persistent symptoms or any concerns.
Radio frequency interference #
The PULSE can emit radio waves that may affect the operation of nearby electronics, such as cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators and other medical devices. Operate the device at a safe distance from medical devices and if you have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device, do not use the PULSE without first consulting your doctor or the manufacturer of your medical device.
To reduce the risk of electric shock:
- ⚠️ Do NOT modify or disassemble the PULSE.
- ⚠️ Unplug the PULSE sensor after use.
- ⚠️ Keep the PULSE sensor away from direct heat and fire.
- ⚠️ Keep the PULSE sensor away from water or moisture.
- ⚠️ Only plug the PULSE sensor into a computer (5V).
